THE BIG 3-0

well dear friends...it's an end of an era...i am now...dare i say it...30. yes, i am now going to have to start checking a different box for age groups. i was so blessed to have friends and family around to help me transition into a new decade. my WONDERFUL husband set up a fabulous party complete with a stretch, hummer-limo, karaoke, and casino games. we all had a blast! shane and i sang (yes, you read that right SHANE SANG) "islands in the stream", badly i might add, but i redeemed myself when jason and i did a little number from greese.

shane transformed the house into a casino. he set up a table for craps, roulette and a texas hold 'em table. everyone seemed to really enjoy the party. as you will see in the pictures, even milly seemed to have a good time. it is a night i will always remember.

all kidding aside though, i'm glad to be 30. the 20's seemed to be so full of changes, and uncertainty in trying to figure out who you are and where you're going. now that i'm 30 i know who i am, what i love and more importantly whom i love. God smiled on my first 30 and i am so looking forward to what he will do in my next 30. i will be thankful for each day he blesses me with.

enjoy the pictures.
peace and love.
